MacKinnon Brothers Brewing - Lunenburg Beer Illustration + Packaging

For the launch of their Lunenburg Canadian Fruit Beer, MacKinnon Brothers Brewing Co. wanted a design that would reflect both the beer’s East Coast inspiration and its berry-forward profile — with a clean, sophisticated twist.

I created a custom botanical illustration that highlights the natural fruit elements of the beer, pairing it with a soft berry-toned palette to reflect the light, refreshing flavour inside the can. The design takes cues from vintage botanical prints while maintaining a modern, minimal aesthetic that fits seamlessly with the MacKinnon Brothers brand.

The final can balances craft authenticity with shelf-ready elegance — standing out through subtle detail and a strong sense of place.
