Pelee Island Winery Core Line Label Illustrations

Pelee Island Winery wanted to refresh their Core Line labels with a design that felt more cohesive, elevated, and connected to the island’s heritage.

I created a custom bird’s-eye-view illustration of Pelee Island, celebrating its unique shape and key landmarks, the iconic lighthouse, ferry, and winery. The goal was to capture the island’s story in a single, timeless image that could unify the entire Core Line series.

The illustration features hand sketched line work and a balanced composition, bringing sophistication while maintaining warmth and authenticity. Each label uses the same central artwork, with subtle colour and typographic variations to differentiate varietals and maintain shelf distinction.

The new labels create a cohesive visual system that reflects Pelee Island’s character and craftsmanship. The design strengthens brand recognition, elevates shelf presence, and establishes a consistent, premium look across the collection.
